Pablo Picasso, one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, once said, “Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” Indeed, art serves as a form of therapy because students and artists who create it experience relief from stress and daily worries by subconsciously venting their emotions through each specific piece of work. This is what makes art special and very personalised when compared to other work or professions. Art is an imaginative expression, often involving creative ways that are used to evoke some kind of intellectual response. Thus, a BFA degree becomes one of the best choices for the students who want to study fine arts, painting, and applied arts.

In this blog, let’s understand more about the BFA degree course and how art can help students grow both personally and professionally. We will also explore the BFA degree course offered by the K.R. Mangalam University (KRMU).

What is a BFA Degree?

The full form of BFA is Bachelor of Art, an undergraduate programme that acts as a hub where artists meet the other artists and creative explorers. A BFA course integrates the theoretical study of art theory, art history, and critical analysis to navigate this complex field.

Designed for individuals with a passion for art and honing their craft, the programme commits to uplifting and nurturing talents, promoting innovation, and encouraging students to push through their creative boundaries to create the unseen.

The syllabus of the course covers a professional education in visual and performing arts, which includes painting, animation, sculpture making, literature, photography, and more. KRMU allows the students to pursue careers in fine arts, graphic designing, and other creative industries.
